Delete your data
Last updated: September 2026
Delete the app to remove its local recordings. ampulse has no account to delete and does not store your recordings on an ampulse server — nights, sessions, thresholds and settings are stored locally in the app. There is no deletion request to file and no waiting period, because there is nothing on our side to erase.
How to delete everything
- Touch and hold the ampulse icon on your Home Screen.
- Tap Remove App, then Delete App.
That removes the app’s local recording files. Copies outside the app are separate. Exports you made earlier — FIT files you shared, workouts written to Apple Health, sessions uploaded to Strava — live where you sent them and are deleted there: Health under Settings → Health, Strava in your Strava account.
Connected folders and assistant conversations
If you linked an export folder, check that folder and any copies synchronized through iCloud Drive or another provider. Delete those copies separately, including recently deleted items where applicable. Data shared with an assistant can remain in its conversations or storage; use that provider’s controls to manage it. Removing the MCP extension stops future access through the connector, but does not erase previously shared data.
The band keeps its own memory
A Polar band stores recent recordings on the device itself until a sync collects them. A factory reset of the band, available in ampulse's band settings and in any Polar app, clears that memory.
One thing deleting the app does not do
Deleting an app never cancels an Apple subscription. If you subscribed to ampulse, cancel it under Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → ampulse — otherwise Apple keeps renewing it.
Support emails
The only personal data we ever hold is email you send us. Want it gone? Write to support@ampulse.fit and we delete the correspondence, unless statutory retention duties apply.
